We’re so grateful to have loved ones joining us from across the globe. Below is everything you need to plan your journey to Lucca with ease — including flight suggestions, train options, local transport, and lodging recommendations.

Getting to Lucca

For UK Guests

Fly into Pisa International Airport (PSA) — the most convenient option, just 20–30 minutes from Lucca.

Flights are available from most London airports, with Gatwick typically being the easiest.

Florence Airport (FLR) is another option, about 1 hour 10 minutes from Lucca by car or train.
From either airport:

You can take a taxi, hire a car, or catch a train to Lucca (direct trains from Pisa Centrale).

For US & Australian Guests

We recommend flying into either Rome (FCO) or Milan (MXP).

From Los Angeles (LAX) and Perth (PER), there are seasonal direct flights to Rome — typically available in May.

From Rome or Milan you can take the train to Lucca (approx. 4 hours from Rome, 3.5 from Milan).

Trains in Italy are comfortable and efficient — we recommend using the Trainline app for booking and live updates in English.

Local Tranport in Lucca

Shuttles will be provided between the main accommodations and all wedding events (Friday–Sunday). Pickup locations will be finalised closer to the date based on where most guests are staying, visit the schedule tab for more information.
For travel outside of the wedding events, we recommend hiring a car or pre booking a driver service — rideshare options and local taxis are limited and often unreliable in this region, particularly at night
For those who will be using taxi services, we recommend downloading Lucca Taxi and Pisa Taxi for booking. 
At the airport there are plenty of taxis and private drivers guests can use from outside the airport to get to Lucca. 
For returning to the airport you can ask hotels to book transfers, pre-book through local taxi services or contact our planner for booking private drivers.
Parking will be available at all venues for those choosing to drive.
